How to set up network location in Win10 tutorial

Computer Store News: Win7 users should be familiar with the “Network Location” option when they first connect to the system. There are 3 options in this window, respectively, “Home Network”, ““ ;Work Network” and “Public Network”. After upgrading Win10, there was no similar option for the first time networking. Does it mean that Windows10 has no related settings?

In fact, Win10 still has similar settings, but the system automatically handles it for you. And did not ask the user. If you want to modify it yourself, you can do it in “Settings".

The specific tutorial is as follows:

1. Open “Set” After application, select "Network & Internet&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& The network currently in use. If it is a wired network, select “Ethernet";the wireless network is selected"WiFi"

3. Click on the currently active network connection and you will see “Find the device” And content & rdquo; switch, if closed, apply to "public network"; if open, apply to "home network" and "work network" (from the Windows 7 settings it can be seen that both modes are trusted Private network)

Win10 opens this option by default. If you use your computer on a public network, you should turn off this option to avoid revealing your privacy.
