Win10 Preview 10114: You can disable the Start Menu "App Suggestions" function

Computer Store News: At the Build 2015 Developer Conference held earlier this month, Microsoft demonstrated a new feature in the Windows 10 Start Menu called "Smart Advice" or "" Application Suggestions". It's actually just a new area above the file explorer, settings, and power shortcuts. If you don't have an app installed for a while, “app suggestions” will recommend relevant apps based on your download and app history. If it is already installed, the most recently installed app will appear in this area.

But some users are more disgusted with this "characteristics", commented that “ is very scattered. The ads belong to the store, not the start menu! & rdquo; & " This is the ad, nothing more. I hope I can close it. & rdquo; Now it seems that users can indeed turn off smart suggestions, in the unreleased Windows 10 Build 10114, you can find the option to turn off smart advice.

It seems that you can enable or disable smart suggestions (the first option in the image above) in setting the app's personalized category, but this option is currently not available in Build 10114. Microsoft has added several start options for those who prefer a full-screen start screen, or they can customize their start menu.
