Microsoft Win10 new touchpad gesture function analysis

Computer store news: Yesterday Microsoft held the TechED Europe conference in Barcelona, Spain. Joe Belfiore, head of Windows development, presented a series of new elements of Win10, including a demo of enterprise-level security and the latest touchpad gestures.

Now let's analyze the touchpad gestures that Joe Belfiore demonstrated in the demo

This time only demonstrated four touchpad gestures

Display the desktop: three fingers simultaneously Slide the trackpad down and minimize all windows to display the desktop. Equivalent to the mouse click on the bottom right corner of the desktop.

Show all windows: After performing the above actions, all windows have been minimized, three fingers slide up on the touchpad, and all windows resume display. Equivalent to clicking on the bottom right corner of the desktop again.

Task View: Slide three fingers up directly without displaying the desktop, and the task view appears.

Windows Flip: Three fingers swipe left or right to make a selection window, release your finger to determine the selection, and switch the virtual desktop. Equivalent to Alt+Tab.

The features displayed in this demo may be just a part of the touchpad gestures. I believe that Microsoft will continue to improve the Win10 system to make it more user-friendly.

Microsoft Joe Belfiore said:

& ldquo; In the past, touchpad related development was very difficult, because OEMs often customize them. Now, we have added support for the touchpad for Windows 10, and users can use gestures to operate the touchpad to improve efficiency. ”
