Microsoft temporarily suspends Windows Phone 7.8 update push

Computer Store News: In January of this year, Microsoft began to cooperate with many wireless providers around the world to bring Windows Phone 7.8 update push to users below Windows Phone 8. Now, some media have found that Microsoft's WP7.8 push activity has been stagnant, and the reason for this phenomenon seems to be due to a malfunction in Live Tiles.

Earlier this month, many users found that after they upgraded their phones to WP7.8, Live Tiles was not updated, which led to mobile phone consumption. The battery speed is increasing.

Earlier this week, Vodafone of Germany revealed that Microsoft has suspended WP7.8 pushes in other regions. Since Microsoft did not give specific instructions, outside speculation believes that the push is temporarily caused by Live Tiles.

WPCentral.com pointed out in Microsoft's MSDN forum that Microsoft has admitted to discovering problems with Live Tiles. It seems that Microsoft intends to continue the push of WP7.8 after the problems of Live Tiles are fixed.
