Step 1: Extract the newly downloaded driver to the specified path on the hard disk. Generally, the drivers need to be downloaded from the Internet. Step 2: Right click on "My Computer" on the desktop and select "Properties" - "Device Manager".

Step 4: Click the "Driver" - "Upgrade Driver" button on the display properties page, start the "Upgrade Driver" wizard, and click "Next".

Step 5: The selection window appears. You can choose to have the system search for the driver yourself or upgrade the driver yourself. Generally select the first option and click "Next".

Step 6: The interface for setting the driver search location appears. You can choose to search from the floppy disk or you can choose to search from the CD. Since the new driver is already on the hard disk, you should select the "Specify a location" option. , click "Next".

Step 7: Click "Browse" to find the folder where the driver is located, and click "OK".

Step 8: Windows analyzes the selected driver and compares it with the driver being used to give the result. If you installed the selected driver, click Next.

Step 9: The system starts to copy the driver, then the “Complete Window” appears, click the “Finish” button.

Step 10: Click the "Yes" button in the "Do you want to restart the computer" dialog box, Win-dows restarts and the driver update is completed. In Windows 2000/XP systems, the update driver operation is similar.
