Hard disk partitioning with XP and 2003 comes with tools

  

When we get a hard drive with a low-level format, the first step is to partition the hard drive before advanced formatting and further installation of the operating system. However, when using FDISK for partitioning the hard disk, the full screen of English and complicated operations will make some computer users feel at a loss and it is difficult to start. I have to ask the computer old bird to help. It doesn't matter if you put it on the side of the person, it is sad to pay the time. In fact, the partitioning operation of the hard disk can be easily carried out in the Chinese interface of the Windows operating system, and you are fully capable of DIY. The only condition is that you or your friend has a computer with a Windows XP or Win 2003 operating system available for you to use. Gossip less, and see the author to take the Win 2003 operating system as an example:

Set the hard disk to be partitioned, then receive the installation of Win XP or Win In the 2003 operating system of the computer. Power on, if your master and slave settings are correct, the system will detect the hard drive. However, in "My Computer", you can't see this new stuff. Open the “Control Panel” in the “Control Panel” menu. In the “Administrative Tools” page that appears, double-click the “Computer Management” icon to display the interface shown in Figure 1.

Double-click on "Disk Management" in the left frame, the page shown in Figure 2 appears,

Click the “Next” button, followed by Disk 1 is selected as the disk to be initialized and converted in the Disk Initialization and Conversion Wizard (Figures 3 and 4).

Right-click on the Disk 1 block and select “New Disk Partition (N)…” in the shortcut menu that pops up to enter” ;New Disk Partition Wizard” page, click “Next”Enter the "Select Partition Type" page, select “Main Disk Partition" and click “Next”, enter “ The size of the page can be divided according to your needs, as shown in Figure 7.

Click “Next”Go to “ Assign Drive Letter and Path" page, you can decide whether to assign. If you assign a drive letter, you can see this new partition in "My Computer", and it doesn't matter if you don't assign it, as shown in Figure 8.

Click “Next” After the "Completing the New Disk Partition Wizard" page click “Complete" button, the system returns to the "Computer Management" page , the creation of the primary disk partition of the hard disk is completed, as shown in FIG. After that, you can create unassigned partitions in the same way, but note that you must select "Extend disk partitions" in the "Select partition type" page.

Finally, don't forget to right-click on the newly created main disk partition on the “Computer Management” page and select “Delete Disk Partition as Active” in the pop-up menu. & rdquo;. Right-click on the newly created extended disk partition to perform the “New Logical Drive” operation. If you want to divide the extended disk partition into multiple partitions, just do a few more things.

Simple! You will also be doing disk partitioning, you are also an old bird!
