Set up the fax machine
The first thing to note is that if you are still using Modem to access the Internet, then you don't need to set anything; if you don't use Modem to access the Internet, just re-add it as you used to dial up. That's it, I won't say more here. Let's take a look at how to set up a fax. In the default installation mode of Windows XP, there is no fax machine, so we have to add the fax machine first, click “Start”→“Printer and Fax", we will see "Printers and Faxes&rdquo ; dialog box, click “ set fax & rdquo;.
Next Windows will install and configure the components of the fax machine for us
After installation, we can see an icon named "Fax" in the "Printers and Faxes" dialog box. Double-click this icon, we will see the "Fax Configuration Wizard", click "Next", we will set up the fax number, email, phone number and other sender information.
After filling out, click “Next”, we have completed the configuration of the fax, click “Complete”. At this point, Windows will pop up the "Fax Console" dialog box. This dialog box is very similar to the Outlook interface, and it is similar in use.
Send a fax
After setting up the fax machine, you are ready to send the fax. First click on “File” →“Send Fax", we will see the "Fax Send Wizard" dialog box.
Click "Next" to fill in the recipient's information, including the recipient's name and fax number, then click “Add”.
