The first method

The second method

Step 1: Run “regedit” to open the "Registry Manager"; run the Registry Editor, and then expand [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\ Microsoft\\WindowsNT\\CurrentVersion\\Winlogon] branch, then double-click "DefaultUserName" in the right window and enter your login username. If there is no preset user name, you can add this item by clicking on “Edit →New →String Value(s)→DefaultUserName” in the menu bar of the Registry Editor, pay attention to the distinction between uppercase and lowercase letters.

Step 2: Also under the above branch, double-click "DefaultPassword" in the right window of the Registry Editor. After the operation, if you do not find "DefaultPassword", you can follow the above steps. Create a new string value.

Step 3: Double-click “AutoAdminLogon” in the right window to set the value to “1”. If “AutoAdminLogon” does not appear, repeat the above steps to create a new one.

After completing the above 3 steps, close the Registry Editor and restart the computer. The login dialog box disappears after startup.

The third method

Step 1: Clear the user login password and delete the redundant users, because in Windows XP, "Account Management" does not provide "Automatic Login". The only way to do this is to do this.

The fourth method

Step 1: Run the “control user passwords2” command to open the original Windows 2000-style user account management interface.

Step 2: Remove from the pop-up window, “To use this machine, the user must enter the username and password” and then click “Apply”.

Step 3: In the pop-up "Automatic login" window, enter the user name and password to be automatically logged in. After confirming, you can achieve it!
