Fast conversion of FAT32 to NTFS in Windows XP

Windows XP itself supports NTFS partitions, and the security and disk management of NTFS partitions is better than other partition formats. When installing Windows XP, the system will automatically let you choose whether to convert the existing partition to NTFS partition. If you have no choice at the time, but now want to convert the hard disk to NTFS, in addition to using Partition Magic and other tools, there is actually a A simpler and more practical method.
1. Click “Start → All Programs → Accessories → Command Prompt” (this is a DOS-like interface built into Windows XP. All internal instructions are basically the same as those under DOS).
2. After opening the window, type "covert c:/FS:NTFS" at the cursor prompt and press Enter. Note that there is a space after the "covert".

3. Then the system will ask you to enter the volume label of the C drive and then press Enter. Click on the C drive in the "My Computer" tab and look at its properties to find it.

This makes it easy to convert the partition format to NTFS. This method is only used to convert FAT32 to NTFS and cannot convert NTFS to FAT32.
