WinGate crashes IP address conflict

There are more than 200 machines in the company LAN, all using fixed IP addresses in the same network segment, and no DHCP server is set in the entire network. Not long ago, when the computer technicians used the virtual PC to test (the fixed IP address was not specified, the network default attribute status was used to automatically obtain the IP address), the Kingdee server of the finance department suddenly prompted the IP address conflict, causing the server to not work properly. It is. In order to solve this problem, the author has spent a lot of thoughts, and now the entire settlement process is organized as follows, I hope to help everyone in the future maintenance work.
The reason for this problem is because there are computers on the network that use the DHCP service, so you must find out which computer is set up with the DHCP service. However, in order to find out the computer with the DHCP service in the network and check the settings of each computer, this rookie method is time consuming and affects the work of other colleagues. However, the following troubleshooting methods can quickly resolve such issues.
Troubleshooting
1. First enter "ipconfig /all" in the command mode of the virtual PC, and the prompt shown in the figure appears. According to the IP address of the DHCP server, it is determined that the DHCP server is the online proxy in the company. server.
2. Log in to the proxy server, open the "Administrative Tools" check, find that there is no "DHCP", and then open "Add/Remove Windows Components" to check the "Network Services", the DHCP service is not installed at all, the command in the proxy server Run "ipconfig /all" in mode, but found that this server is not a DHCP server. This is strange. If the DHCP service is not installed and the DHCP service is automatically assigned to other computers, the IP address is automatically assigned to the other computer.
3. I unplug the network cable of the proxy server and set it to "automatically obtain an IP address" with a computer. Testing, you can not get an IP address, indicating that the problem still exists. After connecting to the network cable of the proxy server and testing, the IP address can be obtained, and the IP address of the DHCP server is found to be the IP address of the proxy server. This proves that the only DHCP server in the network is the proxy server that causes IP conflict.
4. Finally, after careful examination, the author found that this problem is caused by the WinGate agent software on the proxy server. Because WinGate is automatically started after the installation is complete, as long as any computer on the network is set to "automatically obtain an IP address", the computer will automatically obtain an IP address from the proxy server, which will result in The IP address conflicts. After the DHCP and DNS services in WinGate are disabled, the problem is solved immediately.
Summary: Before using various application software, it is best to familiarize yourself with the characteristics of the software to avoid unexpected failures and add unnecessary trouble to the work.
