Win7 partition method detailed illustration tutorial

I have a friend, his computer
system is win7, but only one C drive, 500G hard drive is given to the C drive, find me to re-send her Divide the area. Write this article after you've finished it, so that you can use it when you need it.

Step 1: Right-click on the desktop computer or the computer in the Start menu, click Manage, and look for Disk Management.

Second Step: After waiting for a while, you will see the following picture. If your win7 has only one partition, right click on the compressed volume. If the C drive space is appropriate, there are still Other unallocated partitions, please go directly to the fourth step.

Step 3: After clicking on the compressed volume, it will be analyzed, and then the following icon will pop up. The default data shown here is the minimum partition size, so you must modify it to be larger. Please compress it. Enter the C drive partition you want to set in the space capacity bar. Under normal circumstances, it is recommended that the C drive of Win be at least 50G. If your hard drive space is large enough, it is recommended to give the C drive 80G. But you have to see clearly, the unit below is MB, so you want to set 50G should enter 50000, if it is 80G should enter 80000. Then click on Compress.

Step 4: After the C drive is successfully compressed, the following picture will appear. There is an unallocated partition behind the C drive. You can right-click the unallocated partition to complete the new partition.

Step 5: Set the size of the partition to be set. Similarly, the unit here is MB, please pay attention. If you make a mistake, you can delete the partition behind the C drive and repartition the partition to know that it is satisfactory. Some pictures suggest that you divide all the rest into the D drive, and then create software, movies, pictures, documents and other folders on the D drive, so that you can make full use of the disk.

Step 6: Set a partition number for the newly created partition. The default win7 partition will be automatically arranged downwards in order.

Step 7: Select the partitioned file system, it is recommended to use ntfs, and perform a quick format.

Finally, complete the creation of the partition.

This method can use Win7's own disk management tools to repartition partitions, but if you want to repartition Win7 systems that already have data, you need software pairs like Acronis Disk. Win7 performs lossless partition adjustment.
