Pull out and kill the CPU under Vista too high

There are too many players now, xx video, xx play ,, but still many users are still accustomed to using Win7 or Vista's own Windows Media Player player, well, which is referred to as WMP.

However, there is a user response. Recently, cpu always has a 50% usage rate. After helping him look at the process, he found that wmpnetwk occupies a lot of cpu, and he can't shut it down. What should he do?

First, let's first understand what this wmpnetwk is.

The wmpnetwk process is started by the service, which is the Windows Media Player version 11.0 (Vista built-in) and later versions (the WMP built-in version in Win7 is 12.0).

The wmpnetwk process runs the file \\\\Program Files\\Windows Media Player\\wmpnetwk.exe, which is used to share the Windows Media Player media library with other network players and media devices using Universal Plug and Play devices. The so-called maximum possible support for portable devices and smart appliances. Basically no use for ordinary users.

Disabling related services is OK, as follows:

Open Windows7 Optimizer (or use Rubik's Cube), click on "System Optimization" above, and "Service Optimization" on the left. ;, open the Windows7 Service Optimization Master, find and select the "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service" service, click the stop below and change to manual!

See below for screenshots:

Or, go to Win7 Control Panel ——Manage Tools ——Services, find and select “Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service” service, right click on "Properties", click on the "Stop" button in the "General" page, and then change the "Startup type" to "ldquo" is disabled", after confirming, you can carry out.
