Microsoft will release Windows XP SP3 next week with only 35 seconds to boot

April 8 news, according to foreign media reports, the latest test results show that Windows XP SP3 boot speed is 23 seconds faster than Vista SP1.

The latest test results show that Windows XP SP3 (RC2) takes 35 seconds to boot, and Vista SP1 is 58 seconds without installing any programs such as anti-virus software. This time will increase if other applications are installed.

As we all know, Windws Vista's file copying speed on the network is quite slow, and even makes users feel a little impatient. But with the upcoming release of SP1, the problem will be solved.

Under Vista SP1, the time required to copy a 1.25 GB file is 2 minutes and 29 seconds, while XP SP3 is 2 minutes and 5 x 4 seconds.

In the middle of last month, Microsoft just released Vista SP1. Originally, Microsoft hopes to promote Vista popularity through SP1. However, from the market reaction after the release of SP1, Vista has not yet been promoted.

As for XP SP3, it is expected to be released after April 15.
