Create a more powerful and secure Windows XP boot password

  
. You may often see some methods and techniques for cracking login usernames and passwords into Windows XP in newspapers or magazines. It seems that Windows XP is not very secure. In fact, Windows XP has a more A secure "boot password", this password is displayed in front of the user's password, and can also generate a key disk. If you set it, your Windows XP will be more secure. Let's make this "boot password" together. Set the Windows XP startup password 1. Click the menu "Start → Run", enter "Syskey" in the run dialog box (Figure 1), click "OK" to pop up the "Protect Windows XP account database security" dialog box (Figure 2 ). Figure 1 2. If you want to cancel the system startup password, follow the steps above and select "Save the system on the machine" under "Startup Password" dialog box (Figure 3). The password is OK. After confirming, the system password will be saved to the hard disk. The next time you start the computer, the window for starting the password will not appear again. Using the Windows XP startup password "boot password" is displayed at system startup. After restarting the system, the first thing that appears is to prompt you to enter the "boot password". After entering the correct password, the Windows XP login interface will appear. Entering the username and password will completely log in to the system, and now your system has double password protection. Making the boot password "key disk" "Key disk" is equivalent to a key. Only the disk can be used to open the boot password when booting. Now many software use this method to encrypt software, such as Rising, KV3000 and so on. The method of making the "key disk" is very simple. Enter "Syskey" in the "Run" dialog box, click the "Change" button in the pop-up dialog box, and then select "System" in the "Startup Password" (Figure 4). "Generate password" on the floppy disk. After clicking the "OK" button, you will be prompted to enter the password, and then you will be asked to insert a floppy disk (see Figure 5) into the floppy drive to create the "key disk".
