installed XP and ubuntu dual system, and later in XP when re-adjusting the partition, accidentally removed the partition where ubuntu is located, because the boot of the multi-system is ubuntu self With grub, this can not enter XP, boot prompts can not find grub, then how can I repair the XP boot menu, I did this.

first boot the system with XP installation disk (Ghost version of the installation disk does not work, the depth streamlined version of XP does not work) according to the prompt press R to enter the Recovery Console, enter '1 (XP installation drive letter) management administrator password (not directly carriage return)

C in: Windows & gt; input fixboot prompted, enter y

C under: Windows & gt; lower input fixmbr When prompted, enter y

Enter exit under C:Windows>

This will successfully fix the XP boot menu.
