Microsoft will prepare Windows 9 operating system development

next year. According to foreign media reports, Microsoft confirmed that the company has been preparing to develop Windows 8 system as early as 2009.
XP and Vista have been replaced for 5 years, and for the new operating system, Microsoft has adopted a development strategy to accelerate system replacement, as is the Windows 8 system.
Windows 7 was officially released at the end of 2009. In mid-2009, Windows 7 RTM (released to the manufacturer) was released. Therefore, when Windows 7 development is completed, Microsoft has already looked into Windows 8.
Steven Sinodot, director of Microsoft's Windows business unit, said: "We started preparing for Windows 8 system development in the summer of 2009 (before Windows 7 was released). In the beginning, we have been rethinking Windows system development, even including some of the most basic user models, platforms and APIs, and architectural support elements. Striving for security is not our goal. “
It is reported that Windows 8 will be released at the end of 2012, but the specific release date is still uncertain.
According to Microsoft's development cycle, we can guess that Microsoft will plan for Windows 9 development next year, and the time will be before the release of Windows 8 RTM.
